Cáritas Diocese of Cartagena and the BelenCribs Association have signed a collaboration agreement today, through which the collection of the Musical "Salzillo gives me life" will be used to finance the projects that Cáritas carries out throughout the Region of Murcia.
José Molero, president of the Belenista association, highlighted the figure of Francisco Salzillo, a man of deep religious faith, simple customs and exemplary life, whom Pope Francis himself has considered "Saints next door".
On the other hand, the Secretary General of Cáritas Diocese of Cartagena, Juan Antonio Illán, thanked the framework agreement signed by both entities and the support of Murcia to the work carried out by Cáritas with the most disadvantaged in our Region.
The performance of the musical "Salzillo gives me life" will take place on March 1, 2020 at the Villa de Molina Theater in Molina de Segura.
The donation tickets can be purchased for 10 euros that will be destined, once the expenses derived from the work have been paid, in full to Cáritas.
Carías Diocese of Cartagena has closed this 2019 with more than 80,000 disadvantaged people accompanied by one of the 152 parish Caritas, 6 Territorial Caritas, 5 Territorial Projects or 3 Diocesan Projects that are carried out in the Region of Murcia.
