The mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, has brought together this morning the union representatives of the municipal employees to reiterate that the Government is willing to dialogue to find meeting points in the working conditions pending negotiation.
The meeting has been convened after workers' representatives expressed their willingness to study overtime reduction this morning.
The meeting, which was attended by the Councilor for Personnel, Esperanza Nieto, attended by representatives of the four unions with representation on the Personnel Board and its president.
Negotiation is necessary to agree on a new overtime provision regime, after the expiration of the previous RED agreement, and as a consequence of the fact that the application of the Working Conditions Agreement has been suspended due to its budgetary infeasibility in the current economic context, as the economic reports of Municipal Intervention and the Economic Budget Office have warned.
