This Tuesday, January 21, the collection of naval models of Julio Castelo Matrán, president of the MAPFRE Foundation, was inaugurated in the Peral Hall of the Naval Museum of Cartagena,
The compliance has been attended by the deputy mayor, Manuel Padín.
This space will house 40 scale models of renowned naval history ships, which have participated in relevant historical events made entirely by Julio Castelo Matrán.
In the collection, of high patrimonial and artistic value, there are boats built between the 18th and 20th centuries in Spain in six other European countries and in the United States.
