The yellow alert for rain and storm in Cartagena has been deactivated (21/01/2020)

The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has updated its warnings for adverse weather events for this Tuesday and has already deactivated the yellow level warning for rains in the Cartagena field and temporary on the coast that has remained until this noon, happening now at green level.

The only road that remained cut due to rainfall recorded last morning, the Siphon road between Las Tejeras and Molinos Derribao, has been opened to traffic, and no new incident has been recorded.

Throughout the day, Civil Protection volunteers have been monitoring the state of the roads and the water level on the Ramblas, mainly those that were at greater risk of overflowing, such as Los Nietos and El Albujón.

Remember that the area most affected by the arrival of the 'Gloria' storm in Cartagena, especially for the wind and the sea storm that broke out on Monday, has been Los Nietos, Los Urrutias and Playa Honda, as well as in La Manga and Cabo de Palos, where the waves reached the first line of construction of the Mediterranean Sea beach, causing numerous damages.
