This Tuesday, January 14, the prizes were given to the winners of the XVIII edition of the Christmas showcase contest of the municipality of Cartagena, organized by the Department of Commerce of the City Council of Cartagena, in which 14 businesses participated.
The Councilor for Commerce, Manuel Padín, stressed that with initiatives such as this contest "they seek to boost small businesses and work is already being done so that next year there will be more shops that join."
Ecobío Tu Herbolario is the winner of the contest for its originality when recreating a marine Christmas atmosphere and the use of wrought iron and glass pieces made by the Glass Museum.
The general director of Commerce, Carolina Espinosa, together with the editor of La Opinion of Cartagena, Daniel Roca, have delivered the first prize that supposes an advertising campaign in the newspaper La Opinion, valued at 1,000 euros.
In second place is Machine by Bassico, for originality and innovation when transforming a dress into a Christmas tree.
The director of Radio Cartagena Cadena SER, Antonio Rosa, has presented the prize that consists of a publicity report in Ser Cartagena.
The third classified is the pharmacy Gloria Sánchez Zapata, of Los Urrutias, whose prize will be to include its logo in the social networks of the Department of Commerce and in the promotion through the municipal channels.
Finally, Cristina Díaz on behalf of COEC and Chamber of Commerce, has delivered two second prize.
Thus, Almacenes Solano, of La Aljorra, is one of the shops recognized for the use of representative pieces of the Christmas holidays;
while Little Moma has also achieved a leading role in innovation in terms of the elements used in the decoration.
