The XI edition of the Route of the Strengths will be held on Saturday, March 28, a sporting event of regional and national reference organized by the Navy and the City Council of Cartagena, which will take place over 12 hours and that this year will have a tour of 50 km through various mountains surrounding Cartagena.
The mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, highlighted during the presentation, on Tuesday, of the event "the hardness and beauty of this competition that takes place through unparalleled coastal landscapes of the municipality, as well as the architectural and historical heritage of the old town."
This year, among the main novelties, the increase in places for general tests, which amount to 4,000, stands out, as well as for children and general / promo places that increase 100 places in each.
In addition the route is modified to adjust it as in previous editions to 50 km.
The descent to the quay of Santa Lucia is suppressed and the Calvary and the San Julián join by the crest.
To speed up the exit of the corridors, exit drawers will be used.
The Admiral Chief of the Arsenal, Aniceto Rosique, pointed out "the high valuation of the competition by the participants and the increase in the inscriptions, which have consolidated the test as a regional and national reference".
For his part, the Colonel of the Marine Corps School, Fernando Díaz García, has highlighted the sporting, recreational, civic and, in addition, social character, since "part of the money raised goes to charities in the municipality in coordination with the Town hall".
TEST SCHEDULE
The tests will be held on March 28 from the Heroes de Cavite Square and will end at the esplanade of the Marine Corps School.
The general will start at 08:05 hours, while the youth / promo will do it an hour later, at 09:00 hours.
The previous day, March 27, the children's test will take place at 6:00 p.m.
REGISTRATION PERIOD
The registration period will be open from Friday, January 17 until February 2.
On day 3, a raffle will be held to cover the places and once the race number has been assigned, the runners will have until February 16 to make the payment of their participation effective.
From 17 to 29 will be the period for the income of the reserves.
The cost to participants is 32 euros for the general test, 15 euros for juveniles and 10 euros for children.

SUCCESS OF PREVIOUS EDITIONS
As for the total participation of last year there were more than 7,500 registered, specifically 79% of the Region of Murcia, and the rest of participants from more than a dozen provinces.
Even nine registration requests were made from abroad.
