City Hall and the clubs of FC Cartagena will begin this week to work on the design of the national congress of United Hobbies, whose 2022 edition has been granted to Cartagena, as announced by the vice mayor and head of Sports, Noelia Arroyo.
The candidacy of Cartagena, which has been presented with the support of the City Council, is an initiative of the Federation of Peñas del Cartagena and has been analyzed this weekend in Madrid during the seminar of presidents of clubs of the Association, which brings together half a hundred federations.
Arroyo stressed that the congress “is a new opportunity to unite sports and tourism.
Cartagena could receive more than a thousand peñistas during a weekend and that is good for our hotels and hoteliers.
It will also be another means to project the image of Cartagena and its entire tourist offer â€.
The vice mayor said that the philosophy behind these meetings is to encourage twinning among the hobbies of Spanish football clubs, banish violence from the fields and promote fair play.
