The IV Edition of the Vista Alegre Trail - Sierra Gorda, organized by the Vista Alegre Trail and Mudos Trail clubs with the collaboration of the City of Cartagena, for the benefit of Access de Luz, the Association of Congenital Cataract of Spain, had more than six hundred participants , during its celebration this Sunday, January 12.
The unionense Sisco Díaz Pozo took the first position in the 16K, which runs through the route of the Route of the Fortresses, with a time of 1 hour, 8 minutes and 34 seconds, followed by Guillermo Otero Dávila (1h.11 : 57), and Antonio Simarro Ortega, from Mandarache, with 1h.13: 53, the same time as his club mate Alejandro Alarcón.
In the women's category, María Isabel Pelegrín Esparza, of the Mobel Automenor Running Team, with 1h.24: 17, was the winner.
Second, Lola Cegarra, of the Trail Running Algar, with 1h.32: 53.
Beatriz Pérez, from Kumuka Crossfit, was third with 1h.34: 22.
In the 8K Carlos Gallego 'El Rata', with 33:19, won ahead of Julio José Lozano (33:31) and Jaime Sánchez (33:52).
And in the women, Mari Carmen Moreno (47:09) beat Mari Carmen Torralba (48:16) and Natalia Ribera (51:14) accompanying her on the podium.
The Nordic March, the great novelty of this year, where the first positions were occupied by Juan Pérez and Ana Parra.
The walk for hikers and the mini Sierra Gorda, with distances of 500 and 1,000 meters completed the day, which ended with the traditional 'Macaroni de El Many' and the roscón de Reyes.
