Cartagena Puerto de Culturas together with the Roman Theater join the gastronomic event with the greatest international projection in Spain, Madrid Fusion 2020, with two different guided routes with gastronomic tasting that will take place on the weekends of January and February.
“Cartagena, flavor three cultures”, is the route that will leave on Saturdays from the Panoramic Elevator to ascend to the Castillo de la Concepcin, where the confluence of the three Christian, Jewish and Muslim cultures will be explained.
Subsequently, you will reach the Roman Theater building and its Mueso.
During the route you will taste a medieval-inspired cover.
These marches will take place on Saturdays in January and February at 11:30 am, with an individual price of 13 euros (reduced 10 euros) Club Cartagena Puerto de Culturas 6.5 euros.
The Sunday route is called "One of Romans", which starts from the show building the Roman Theater and its Museum, to discover a day in the one city of the Empire, Carthago Nova.
To do this, continue the route through the Forum District, a site of 3,000 square meters, where you can visit the Baths, the Atrium Building for sacred banquets with exceptional paintings and Temple of Isis.
At the end of the route, you can taste a dish inspired by the Roman cuisine of the book of Apicio.
These routes take place on Sundays in January and February and have the same price and schedule as the previous one.
VIRTUAL REALITY IN THE ROMAN THEATER
The Forum District and the Roman Theater offer the possibility to see the sites with virtual reality and observe these places in 3D images as they were in ancient times.
You can make "A Journey in Time", with an APP on tablets, which will virtually recreate the Roman buildings of the 1st century AD showing their daily life as ceremonies in the sanctuary, bath in the cold room of the hot springs or a banquet in the atrium building.
In this way the visitor will understand the function of each space in a visual and didactic way.
This activity takes place in the Barrio del Foro Romano, on Saturdays and Sundays at 12:00 with a price of 10 euros.
You can also enjoy a “Virtual visit to the Roman Theater: new experiences” that will allow 360 ° visualization of the Theater as it was in its time.
It takes place in the Theater Museum itself, on Saturdays and Sundays in January and February, at 11:00 a.m.
The guided tour of the Roman Theater Museum and the virtual tour of the monument cost € 10.
In response to the high demand of the public, from January 13 to February 14, the Club Cartagena Puerto de Culturas card will be in promotion, where the Club Amigo card and Club Familia will have a 15% discount. The card allows holders to visit the museums and sites of Cartagena Puerto de Culturas free of charge for a whole year.
To obtain any of these cards at a special price of 30 euros club friend and 50 euros family club, it can be done in person at the Museum of the Roman Theater, the Refuge-Museum of the Civil War or the Punic Wall, and through the website of Cartagena Puerto de Culturas.
