The IV Edition of Vista Alegre-Sierra Gorda Trail, organized by the Vista Alegre Trail and Mudos Trail clubs with the collaboration of the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena, opens next Sunday January 12 the calendar of athletic events in the municipality of Cartagena
The special delegate of Sports, Diego Ortega, said that "with this Trail start racing competitions in Cartagena" and has influenced "the need for people to sign up in time since there are some modalities in which there are no places left to sign up. "
The director of the Trail, Juan Esparza, stressed that "the novelty of this year is the Nordic walking mode, 8km, and has had very good acceptance."
This year, another five different tests are also taking place, the 16.5km Trail, an 8km cross, an 8km hiking trail, and the children's events.
The organizer of the Trail, Luis Miguel Ortiz, stressed that "the races for children's tests are completely free".
In addition to promoting sport and caring for the environment, this career is committed to social work, and a portion of the money raised by enrollment in adult categories will go to the Association of Congenital Cataract of Spain ACCESDELUZ.
His representative, Ana Belén Escudero, thanked this solidarity initiative "to raise awareness of this disease and encourage research."
The runners will be able to enjoy the environment that runs along roads and natural paths of the Sierra Gorda of Cartagena and all the tests will run entirely through authorized paths.
The Vista Alegre Trail is consolidating itself as a benchmark in the calendar of popular sports competitions in Cartagena.
