On Sunday, January 12, at 12:00 noon, the artist Krranja will take a guided tour as a closing of his exhibition 'Eikon', exhibited in the temporary exhibition hall of the Museo Teatro Romano Cartagena, to bring attendees to the creative process Of his work.
In the tour of the exhibition, the visitor faces pieces inspired by sculptural works known from the Classical, Renaissance or Neoclassicism period that the viewer can recognize as timeless icons, but which are now converted into new artistic creations where figuration, strength prevails of color, geometric and plant elements, creating a new Olympus, that of Kraser.
Thus the splendid mural, which he painted on the spot and which is dedicated to Horse Racing, is a tribute of Kraser to the Olympics of the Greeks in honor of the goddess Athena.
The artist shows his urban art in the Roman Theater, introducing his pictorial language full of creative imagination in his exhibition halls, thus establishing a new dialogue between the ancient world and contemporary creation.
He has sought his source of inspiration in Greco-Roman classicism, taking as icons works that sink their roots in our own identity as European citizens.
In another format and technique Kraser has dedicated a Series to sculptural works found in the Roman Theater and in other buildings recovered from the old Carthago Nova, paying homage to his city and its archaeological wealth.
This series intervenes on the image of the Altars of Jupiter, Juno and Minerva, the altar of Caio César or the relief of the Rea Silvia, among others, creating fractures and planes of color transferring the classic works to the most contemporary world of urban art .
