From VOX Cartagena we applaud the decision adopted by the Local Government Board to suspend the application of the agreement on working conditions of municipal employees, as well as the one taken a few days ago of not extending the agreement on the Special Dedication Regime, known as "RED hours".
As stated by the VOX Municipal Group in the Cartagena City Council, we consider that the signing of these agreements involves a waste of public money and irresponsibility since, as the Municipal Auditor also warned, they jeopardize the budgetary stability of the City Council.
We also consider that such agreements, when signed by Mayor Ana Belén Castejón on the eve of municipal elections, represent a partisan use of public resources, at the same time a serious mistake that we are paying all Cartagena.
