On the morning of this Thursday, December 26, the second Christmas meeting of the Talent Return to Cartagena program, managed by the Department of Youth and the company Local Initiatives, took place.
This meeting, in which more than 20 young emigrants have participated, who have come to Cartagena for these Christmas dates, as well as eight companies attached to the program - Marnys, Engie, G´S, Adecco, Youmanize, Eurofirms, DosFarma and Drónica- It has been aimed at sharing experiences and concerns, as well as facilitating networking with the companies present, being able to know first-hand these latest competent professional profiles.
The mayor David Martínez, explained that "from the Department of Youth we continue working and joining efforts to have that talent acquired in the personal experience of young people, and bring it back home."
Return to Cartagena is a performance aimed at young emigrants aged 18 to 34 who have been born, lived or studied in Cartagena, who currently reside outside of Spain and want to return to their land, or who have returned in the last 6 months.
For this, young people will have the help of specialized counselors, services and resources for employment, and collaborating entities.
In its first year of activity, more than a hundred young people have been attended and a total of 18 young people have returned to the municipality, 11 of them hired by companies collaborating with the program.
Being 69 companies adhered so far to it.
