It is an object that simulates an explosive device

The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, thanks to citizen collaboration, has seized an object that generated some alarm because of its appearance, but which eventually turned out to be a simulated explosive device.
It was found by a caver in a gallery of a mine in the municipality of Cartagena.
Cash of the Group of Specialists in Explosive Deactivation (GEDEX) of the Benemérita were activated before the discovery, in a mine of Cartagena, of an object suspected of being an explosive device, which had been found by a citizen who was practicing caving .
Once in place the TEDAX agents of the Civil Guard verified that it was a device that simulated an explosive device, probably prepared for the practice of some game and that it was finally forgotten in the place.
Finally, the civil guards seized the object to avoid confusion and subsequent alarm due to its great resemblance to a real explosive device.
Citizen collaboration
In these situations, the collaboration of citizens is key to locate the devices and thus avoid their manipulation and subsequent accident, so that they can finally be guarded, deactivated and destroyed with the mandatory security measures.
In this case the Civil Guard has had a correct citizen collaboration, that is, the speleologist has acted according to the indications and advice provided by specialists in this type of events: do not touch, do not move and notify the emergency telephone of the Guard Civil 062
Safety recommendations
In the case of being faced with an abandoned object that may be suspected of being an explosive, incendiary or pyrotechnic device, the Civil Guard recommends citizens to follow the following instructions:
Give real consideration to any object that looks like an explosive device that is foreign to the environment it is in.
Do not touch or move the object.
Call the emergency number immediately: 062, which the Civil Guard has available 24 hours a day, so that they can be neutralized and safely destroyed by specialists in the field.
If possible, remain in the vicinity of the site until the arrival of the Security Forces and Bodies.
Otherwise, indicate the area or provide the coordinates through a program or GPS tracking application, very common today in some mobile phones.

Any type of manipulation could have fatal consequences.
