The Autonomous Community today carries out the repair of the damages produced in the port of Cabo de Palos by the wind storm that has reached a speed of 95 km / hour in the Region.

The general director of Mobility and Coastline, Marina Munuera, moved to the port today to check the status of the infrastructure and supervise the work to correct the damage that will be completed this morning.

Marina Munuera explained that the repair focuses on the reinforcement of two swamps with the restitution of eight connection pieces.

He stressed that "the priority of the regional government is to ensure the safety of users and ships so that the port continues to function normally after the storm."
