Yesterday took place Plenary of the Neighborhood Board of El Albujón Miranda in which, at the initiative of the MC member, José Andrés Las Carrión, various proposals were addressed for the improvement of infrastructure and road and pedestrian safety in this environment.
In this way, thanks to the Cartagena training the Board agreed to require the construction company responsible for the improvement of the firm and drainage of RM E-33, which links El Albujón and La Aljorra, to perform actions for better signaling and information on alternative diversions to neighboring populations while these works are being carried out.
Likewise, a motion presented by the MC member will encourage the garbage containers located in the parallel streets and access to the old N-301 to be fixed in their location in order to avoid being dragged by strong winds, with the consequent risk of accidents due to lack of road and pedestrian safety during inclement weather.
Las Carrión showed that "due to the inclement weather that has been suffered during this last year, accompanied by strong winds, the existing containers on the streets near the old N-301 are unpredictably moving from their location, sliding dangerously towards the traffic routes ", verifying that" these containers have no protection or restraint measures to prevent their displacement to public roads ".
Therefore, the MC initiative, approved yesterday at the Plenary Session of the Neighborhood Board of El Albujón Miranda, will allow the local government to request the concessionaire of the garbage collection service to make an inventory of these containers and proceed to anchor anchors, which enclose its location with curbs or any other technical measure that is advisable.
