The Council of Children and Adolescents of Cartagena has addressed issues related to migration in its last session of 2019, which was held this Wednesday, December 18, coinciding with World Migration Day.
In the same way, those positive aspects that cultural diversity brings in society and in our immediate surroundings were made visible, using the Childhood and Adolescence Council itself as an example, where some of its advisors come from other countries.
The council is a space for participation in which children and young representatives of childhood and adolescence in Cartagena meet to work on proposals that aim to improve the situation of children and youth in the city.
In addition, they contribute their visions and points of view, so that they are taken into account in municipal policies.
The next meeting will be in January 2020, when he will resume his work calendar.
