La Manga and Cartagena will host the II Redel Campus next fall.
This is an event that brings together almost a hundred experts in Local Development from all over Spain and that the Agency for Local Development and Employment of Cartagena has managed to bring to the municipality in its second edition.
The venue of the campus has been decided this week at the General Assembly of the Network of Local Development Entities (REDEL), which has been held in Madrid and attended by the president of the ADLE and Councilor for Employment, Irene Ruiz , accompanied by the Councilor for Tourism and Business, Cristina Pérez, and the Agency's manager, Fulgencio Cerón.
The delegation of Cartagena has also participated these days in the Forum of Cities for Employment.
“The proposal we made from the ADLE to host this event in the municipality first seeks to contribute to the seasonal adjustment with the promotion of La Manga outside the summer season, as well as to promote the EDUSI La Manga 365 Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development Strategy. We are very proud of the good reception that our request has had and of being able to bring this campus to La Manga and Cartagena, â€Ruiz explained.
The II Campus Redel will take place on October 1 and 2 and will be a new incentive to continue developing the EDUSI of La Manga.
This strategic project aims to boost infrastructure investment to face new challenges and take full advantage of the seasonal opportunities in this area.
EDUSI is coordinated by the Ministry of Development and Infrastructure and has the financial support of the European FEDER funds (80%) and the Autonomous Community (20%).
As the president of the ADLE has advanced, “the experts in Local Development of REDEL, an organization that brings together 26 entities from all over Spain, will debate on this campus about key aspects such as commerce, cultural and creative industries, social innovation, social and circular economy, green entrepreneurship, etc.
In addition, it has been decided that our municipality will host the REDEL General Assembly next year â€.
The Network of Local Entities for Development is formed by 25 entities from different areas of Spain.
