The sample of this selection of some 400 figures of the Nativity Museum of the World of Ojós can be visited on weekdays until January 15 at the Los Dolores Campus, where nine dioramas of the Association of Friends of the Bethlehem Murcia have also been installed .
The Catholic University of San Antonio has organized an exhibition of nativity scenes from the five continents in its Campus in the Cartagena neighborhood of Los Dolores from the Museum of Nativity scenes of the municipality of Ojós, along with a sample of nine dioramas with passages from the birth of the Association de Amigos del Belén Murciano, which can be visited until January 15 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays.
The exhibition, which includes small sculptural groups of materials as different as esparto, prolichromed and glazed ceramics, aluminum, gilded glass, colored glass, tinted plaster, wood, porcelain, corn leaf, plastic and cardboard, are mixed with other made with felt, carved salt, tin, shells, conch and seaweed, white paste, huamanga stone, nacre, tagua seed, eggshell and beads, among other materials.
These are small works that recreate the scene of the birth of Jesus with the Holy Family and, in some cases, the adoration of the Magi from the East and pastors, according to the traditions of different European, American, African, Asian and Oceanian.
Within this framework you can admire groups from Spain, Angola, Mexico, Denmark, Chile, El Salvador, Mozambique, Madagascar, Central African Republic, Guatemala, Jamaica, Colombia, ... among others being the most numerous groups in Peru.

In addition, within the exhibition installed in the facilities of the UCAM of Cartagena you can contemplate the recreation of nine passages of the nativity such as the Annunciation of Mary, the Dream of San José, Annunciation to the shepherds, Birth, Inn, Registration, ... of the Association of Friends of the Bethlehem Murciano under the title "The Nativity according to the Gospel of Luke and Matthew in mud", which includes figures from the Mirete Crafts workshop in constructions made and designed by M. Fuentes and C. Pardo.
With this sample, the Chaplaincy of the Catholic University of San Antonio in Cartagena with the aim of spreading the Christian traditions of Christmas and highlighting the importance that the Birth of Christ has throughout the world, while encouraging the population to visit in Ojós the complete collection, which depends on the Museum of Fine Arts of Murcia and includes pieces correspond to the years 1970-1990, but also others of more than one hundred years old, pieces of author and of great quality of architects that today They are not among us.
