Antonio Manuel Bobadilla Egea received this Wednesday, December 11, the Alzabara 2019 Prize for his work 'Only once'.
The Councilor of the Cartagena Culture Area, David Martínez, presented the award to the winner, whose work was very well received by the public.
The ceremony took place at the Women's Association of La Vaguada.
The Pitera Awards were also awarded, where the winner was Paula Ferrero Hernández and the second prize for Silvia López Cánovas.
In addition, the jury has given two special mentions to the stories of Alejandro Zaragoza and Alejandro Cortina, both about the Mar Menor.
In this literary contest 106 children from 12 to 18 years old participated.
The Councilor for the Cartagena Culture Area, David Martínez, expressed his satisfaction for the celebration, for the eleventh year, of the Alzabara Prize literary contest, which is more than consolidated, and encouraged him to continue participating in future editions.
He congratulated the young people who have participated in the first edition of the Pitera Prize for the high level demonstrated in their stories, "you are stomping, you are true writers."
He said the first edition of the Pitera Prize "has been a real success."
