In order to solve the flooding problems of the RME-33 highway, which links the towns of La Aljorra and El Albujón, the Autonomous Community, through the Ministry of Development and Infrastructure, has launched the reconstruction project of This route, which has to be cut off to traffic every time there is intense rainfall in the area, given its proximity to the Rambla de El Albujón.
The works, which are already being carried out, will cause an interruption in the passage of vehicles through said road for three months, which is expected to last the repair work of the firm.
The budget for the execution of this work amounts to 430,615 euros, and will consist of widening the road, with two lanes of 3 meters each and two shoulders on the sides of half a meter, as well as reinforcing the firm of the road with three layers of rolling
In addition, it is planned to install vehicle containment elements and revive the signaling, both vertical and horizontal.
