The Association of Merchants and Businessmen of La Manga and Cabo de Palos was born in 2012. There are 90 associates who contribute to the collective with their quota, but in reality this association supports the 420 associates and supporters that are divided between these two villages .
The president of the Association of Merchants of La Manga and Cabo de Palos, Antonio Plaza, affirms that “it is a young association that fights for the rights” of the workers in the sector “and for establishing the local commerce in our area”.
In the Association of Merchants and Businessmen of La Manga and Cabo de Palos there are all kinds of shops.
There are hotels, fashion stores, pharmacies, restaurants, real estate or diving clubs.
This group is in permanent contact with the municipalities of Cartagena and San Javier to improve the infrastructure of the businesses that make up La Manga and Cabo de Palos.
"What we want is for our area, the Mar Menor and La Manga to be a more attractive area for investors," says the president of the Association of Merchants and Businessmen of La Manga and Cabo de Palos, Antonio Plaza.
The Agency for Local Development and Employment of Cartagena supports the Association of Merchants and Entrepreneurs of La Manga and Cabo de Palos within its campaign to promote local commerce.
In this way, the ADLE intends to contribute to the economic development of the municipality.
