The Social Center of Los Urrutias has received on the morning of this Thursday, December 5, the delivery of diplomas to the 13 students of the neighborhood program-ADLE Los Urrutias.
The event was attended by the president of the Agency for Local Development and Employment ADLE and Councilor for Employment and Enterprise of the City of Cartagena, Irene Ruiz and the ADLE manager, Fulgencio Cerón.
With this program, the ADLE intends to bring the programs that are being carried out in the field of training and employment to the neighborhoods of the municipality, this time to Los Urrutias, thus facilitating the unemployed a series of orientation actions and training that improve their chances of employment, learning or expanding knowledge of a trade through training, as well as improving the urban aspect of the neighborhood.
The training that students have received has been theoretical in the classroom, where they have completed the course of prevention of occupational hazards taught by the municipal technicians of the City of Cartagena, as well as the theoretical contents of masonry, gardening and painting.
In addition, they have put into practice in their own neighborhood what they have learned in class, so they have contributed to improving their chances of accessing the labor market, while improving the urban aspect of the neighborhood.
Throughout their training, students have received employment guidance such as preparing the curriculum, searching for work online, training guidance, public and private employment, and coaching.
In support of the training, they have received a € 10 scholarship per day to assist in the training activity.
Of the 13 students who started, 3 have found work before completing the training in the construction sectors.

Sanitation of the perimeter walls and debris.
Mortar repair of areas in poor condition.
Plastered, mortar plaster and zip line application for the rehabilitation of perimeter walls.
Leveling the steps with mortar and cement concrete.
Arrangement and conditioning of petanque tracks.
Painting:
Painted with a coating of the perimeter walls.
Painted shield of the AAVV.
Painted curbs.
Sanding and painted basketball baskets.
Brushing, sanding, priming and painting railings.
Brushing, sanding, priming and painting wooden benches.
Brushing, sanding, priming and painting iron benches.
Plastic paint for the library classroom.
Gardening:
Conditioning lands in gardener.
Cleaning of brushwood and stones in alcorques.
Pruning of different types of shrubs.
Pruning and retalla of trees in patios.
Removal of dry branches and pruning.

Painting:
Paint the perimeter walls with white coating.
Paint with red coating tiles the perimeter wall sockets.
Brush, sand, prime and paint with window grilles enamel.
Carry out the AAVV office with plastic paint.
Painted front and back medical office facade.
Gardening:
Cleaning of brushwood in planter.
Pruning of different types of shrubs.
Pruning and retalla of trees.

Once the program is finished, the students' curricula will be incorporated into the ADLE Placement Agency database.
