On November 17, 2019, the events celebrated by the Madridista Peña de Cartagena on the occasion of its 50th Anniversary ended, with a gala at the El Paraíso Restaurant in the Los Dolores neighborhood, in which the Mayor, Ana Belén Castejón , dedicated a few words to this group of supporters of Real Madrid.
Councilor Diego Ortega and Manuel Padín also attended the event, as well as former Real Madrid players, Paco Bonet and José Antonio Salguero.
The act was presented by the journalist Carlos Illán.
In the previous days there was a talk at the headquarters of the Peña Madridista, with former Real Madrid players, Jesús Rosagro, Juan Miguel García (Juanmi) and José Ángel Ruíz (Cholo) .. Antonio Juan Meroño also participated in the talk , Real Madrid Foundation technician, Alonso Gómez López (former first division referee), Eduardo Martínez Caro, of the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena, Carlos Illán and the president of the Madridista Peña, José García Fuentes.
On Saturday, November 16, 2019, a foursquare soccer homer was held at the San Juan Bosco de Salesianos Field.
In the afternoon the events continued, with a Mass in the Parish of Christ of Health, in memory of the deceased partners.
That same day, there was an open day at the Peña headquarters so that they could see the original trophies granted by Real Madrid, the 2018 Club World Cup and the 2019 Spanish Basketball Supercup.
