The Eurodesk Cartagena office participated last week in the Eurodesk Euroclass Network project aimed at raising awareness of European opportunities for young people.
With the aim of training Network technicians in this new program, Poland hosted a training attended by professionals from all Eurodesk Europe offices, including Eurodesk Cartagena.
The Euroclasses are aimed at young people between 16 and 19 who will make decisions about their future and, more importantly, about their future in Europe.
They are spaces to share basic knowledge, broaden horizons, invite reflection and help in the search for more information, based on non-formal education methods.
They have the 'Europarticipation' modules where participants focus on the overall picture of the change in Europe, its governance and decision-making processes, allowing young people to understand how they can actively participate and influence political decisions at the local level or European;
and the 'Eurovolunteering' module where you learn the involvement of volunteering abroad, the social values that it entails and how they could benefit from this opportunity thanks to EU programs such as the European Solidarity Corps.
The Eurodesk Cartagena Multiplier Position is located in the Youth Area of the Department of Youth and is responsible for bringing information related to Europe to young people, and those interested can request an appointment through the mail cartagena@eurodesk.eu
