With the realization of a Christmas nativity scene with recycling materials have begun this Monday, December 2, the largest Christmas activities, framed in a program of the Department of Social Services of the City Council with workshops, visits, performances of their choirs and coexistence until January 5 to celebrate these dates.
The Senior Club of the Station Sector has hosted this intergenerational activity together with ISEN students, who will exhibit in the Hall of the City Hall of San Miguel Street during the toy collection campaign.
They will continue on Tuesday, December 3, 10 and 17 with the craft workshop 'Decorate your home for Christmas' that will be held in La Milagrosa, followed by the performance of the Rociero Choir of the Women Alba Association on Wednesday 4 at the ORPEA residence .
The performances will continue with the Rondalla de Alumbres in the Hermanitas de la Caridad residence, the Rociero Choir of the Alba Women Association in the AMMA residence and the Little Sisters of the Poor, and with the Rondalla of the Club of Seniors of Santa Ana in the Nova residence Saint Ana.
Other Art workshops will also be held at the Los Dolores Day Center and Christmas confectionery at the Virgen del Mar and CED Los Dolores residences, as well as a Christmas party in this center with activities and Christmas carols.
Among the activities of the program there is also a guided visit to the Municipal Bethlehem by the sculptor Juan José Quirós along with other nativity scenes or an intergenerational activity in which the elders of the Santa Ana Polygon Club will come to tell the children of the CEIP Narval the Christmas of yesteryear.
In neighborhoods and districts, the elderly will perform the lighting of the tree with Christmas performances with the children of Alumbres, while in El Albujón they will open an exhibition of their Christmas works in the club of elders or a Christmas party in the Center of Algar Day.
For their part, the elderly clubs of La Manga, Los Belones, Urbanización Mediterráneo and San Antón will carry out a food collection from the 9th and the 13th for subsequent delivery to NGOs in the municipality.
The program will have as a final touch the visit of the Magi and their pages to the sick of Molinos Marfagones by the club of the Elderly on Sunday, January 5.
