The New Cartagena Municipal Sports Center hosted this Saturday, November 30, the opening of the new 2019-2020 academic year with the presentation of the New Cartagena Football Club and School, thus opening the events of the entity's XXV anniversary (1995-2020) that will take place throughout the year.
The event was carried out by a parade, a photo shoot of all the teams and an exhibition of several players in the release of 25 symbolic balloons with happy birthday music.
In addition, a “monolith” was discovered that represents an old marking car, when the field was of ground of pool and was marked with plaster, the pitch.
The act was chaired by the Board of Directors of the Club, the Vice Mayor of Cartagena, Noelia Arroyo, the Councilor for Public Safety and Celebration, Juan Pedro Torralba, the General Director of Sports of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, Francisco Javier Snchez, the president of the Nueva Cartagena Neighborhood Association, Antonio Molina, and the club's main sponsors, Global Moller, Studio 42, and Afesport.
All those present had words of thanks and the club wanted to honor Alonso Gmez, former general director of sports of the Autonomous Community and exedil of the Cartagena corporation, for his support of the club, thus receiving the gold badge and named “godfather of honor ”Of the Club.

Previously, early in the morning taking advantage of the first and second federated league matches, the XXV presentation tournament was played, of the juvenile category, taking the victory of the EF Alcazares and Naval CD against the teams of the EF New Cartagena.
This sports entity has 20 teams, both federated league and local and amateur Regional League, as well as a Paddle School.
Counting with more than 350 players, from baby bottle category to youth, technicians and managers.
In addition, the sports club has a social commission made up of fathers and mothers, Association of Footballers, Cheerleaders and other groups that participate socially in the neighborhood.
Nueva Cartagena FC has the collaboration of the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena, among others.
Nueva Cartagena FC will continue with the following commemorative events that will be held throughout the season, such as the Christmas Gala chapter 2, the publication of a book with the history of the 25th anniversary, coach's notebook, Gala institutional awards, exhibitions, media programs or the international inter-school football base tournament.
