The Department of Urban Planning led by the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, has granted a license for the construction of a residence for the elderly on Mariano Sanz street in San Felix.
As explained by the mayor, the project has an execution budget of about 3.5 million euros.
The residence will occupy a plot of about 8,000 square meters.
It will have two floors and a basement.
It will house about 135 rooms, of which 45 will be double and 90, single, for a total of 180 residents.
It will also have 51 surface parking spaces and 29 basement parking spaces.
The building will be distributed in several areas of coexistence in which the rooms, patios with garden terrace and common use areas will be arranged.
It will also have a health area, with consultation rooms and priests, first aid kit, physiotherapy and rehabilitation;
as well as a multipurpose room for downtown activities.
The roof will also have open and landscaped terrace areas for walking and recreation.
