A group of students of the degree in Engineering of Mineral Resources and Energy, who this week celebrate their management parties, have this morning made a cleaning of the beach of Los Nietos, one of the most affected by the DANA occurred in September.

The work has focused on the collection of plastics, a serious ecological problem on all coasts, but especially in areas near agricultural crops under plastic.

In the degree, students study waste management and water purification treatment and become aware of the need to develop sustainable mining with the maintenance of the environment.

The Los Nietos Yacht Club has collaborated with the collection with a Clean Point.
