Cartagena hosts for the second consecutive year 'Los Congresos del Bienestar', which this time revolves around Wellness and Fine Arts.
It will be on December 6, 7 and 8 at the El Batel Municipal Auditorium and Conference Center.
The presentation of the congress, organized by the Cadena Ser, in collaboration with the City Council of Cartagena, Cartagena Puerto de Culturas and the Port Authority, has had the presence of the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón and the director of the Cadena Ser en Cartagena, Antonio Rosa.
The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, said that this congress serves to "promote a city full of history and continue to claim tourism and putting Cartagena on the national agenda."
In addition, he said that this is “very important†for the declaration of Cartagena as a UNESCO World Heritage city.
The director of the Cadena Ser in Cartagena, Antonio Rosa, stressed that this congress will have “an immediate impact on national media†and “will seasonalize tourismâ€, through several travel packages.
The tourist packs, which sold out immediately but others were put up for sale, are 150 euros, with a pension in a 4-star hotel and breakfast.
In addition, they will be able to visit the Christmas Fort, through a sea route, the Isaac Peral Room of the Naval Museum, the Barrio del Foro Romano, the Augusteum and the Casa de la Fortuna;
all with the collaboration of Cartagena Puerto de Culturas.
Rosa recalled that "even if tickets have been sold out, they will go on sale more so that attendees can make these different routes."
It should be noted that attendees who are from the Region of Murcia will pay for the payment for the activities of the Congress 50 euros and if they are not, 75 euros.
The cinema and series, literature, music, fashion and architecture constitute five fine arts on which over three days they will address personalities such as Fernando Trueba, David Trueba, Wyoming, Antonio Resines, Ayanta Barilli, Ara Malikian, Nata Moreno, Luis Alegre, Andrés Trapiello, Antonio Soler, Nuria Barrios, Juan Cruz, Salvador Moreno Peralta, Albert Cortina, Anatxu Zabalbeascoa, Teodoro León Gross, José Manuel Ferrater, Patricia Soley, Silvia Ventosa, Ana Locking and Cristina López Barrio.
Antonio Rosa explained that “a city with three thousand years of history and that wants to be a UNESCO World Heritage city can prove in its streets and in its living legacy what is the manifestation of the Fine Arts, consequence of what they have been leaving the different civilizations that have passed through it â€.
On November 6, before the start of the Congress, the program Hoy por Hoy Region of Murcia will be held live in the Plaza del Icue, and in the same place, at 18 hours, the activity 'Music is beautiful and art ', in which the music groups Río Viré, Avisad Mama and Stupid Flanders will perform.
The director of the Cadena SER in Cartagena has concluded by saying that he hopes that this congress will become “a city brand†like La Mar de Música or The Jazz Festival.

LIVE PROGRAM HOUR 25
As a preamble of this congress, the radio journalist of the SER, Pepa Bueno, will perform live his program 'Hora 25' from Cartagena, this Friday, November 29, at 9:00 pm, at the Faculty of Business Sciences of the UPCT , in the Old CIM, where issues that affect the city and the congress will be addressed.
This activity will be attended by the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, the Councilor for Education, Irene Ruiz and the Councilor for Social Services, Mercedes García.
