The CEIP Atalaya and La Asomada begin the educational program 'El Molino y las Jaras de Nuestro Campo', organized by the Department of Education in its Educational Programs unit and which will be developed throughout the 2019/20 school year.

The children visited the Zabala Mill and toured the Rambla de los Jarales.

Thus, they were able to enjoy the native flora and fauna around the promenade and discover a Mediterranean landscape in the Protected Natural Environment of the Sierra de la Muela, Cabo Tiñoso and Roldán.

The program is complemented by a visit to the fully restored mill, which will discover the mechanisms of grain grinding and its various parts and machinery.

The objective is none other than to show the smallest ways and attitudes of learning and enjoying a natural space, promoting respect and conservation of the environment, while making known the natural and cultural values ​​of our field.
