The Agency for Local Development and Employment renews the collaboration agreement that it has with the Murcian Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation (ISOL), an entity that facilitates access to the labor market by carrying out socio-labor insertion actions of people with mental illness in the municipality.

The firm was in charge of the president of the Agency for Local Development and Employment, Irene Ruiz, and the President of the Murcian Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation .- ISOL, Luis Pelegrín.

ISOL is the only entity in the municipality that facilitates access to the labor market for people with mental illness in our municipality through the realization of training actions, tutoring and accompaniment in the active job search by performing socio-labor insertion actions with the group in coordination with the Mental Health Assistance and Rehabilitation services of the Health Area II in order to directly monitor patients.

The ADLE collaborates and favors the rehabilitation and socio-labor insertion of people with mental illness as set out in the agreement signed with the Murcia Health Service and subsidizes with 99,500 euros the expenses that are derived from the execution of the workshops of: Conditioning, Maintenance of Buildings and Gardening and the Workshop of Children Parks Monitor / a executed by ISOL, thus enabling the process of socio-labor integration of this group.

The workshops developed throughout the year 2019 are located in the Training Center of Quarries, there have been a total of 37 people with mental illness who have participated in the mentioned workshops as well as in transversal skills workshops.

By signing the agreement, the agency shows its satisfaction and interest in continuing to develop this project in the municipality of Cartagena, as a final step to the subsidy granted to the ISOL association, and continue joining forces to obtain important results in terms of inclusive employment with people with mental illness
