Room B of the Auditorium and Congress Palace El Batel de Cartagena will host on Saturday November 30 at 6:00 pm the twenty-third edition of the “Maestro José Espinosa†Choir Show of the Carthagonova Polyphonic Choir.
It will be a special concert on the occasion of the feast of Santa Cecilia through which a total of 235 corals from seven different corals will pass.
This event has the collaboration of the Department of Culture of Cartagena.
Admission is free until capacity is reached.
In its beginnings, to this Sample were invited, throughout the month of November, the sixteen corals of Cartagena and region with more tradition.
Over time, given the complexity of the organization, it was decided that there were only seven or eight corals participating in a single day and that they were rotating every year.
Thus, in this edition the choirs that will participate are the “Rondalla Choir A Son de Mar†of Cartagena, “Coral Ars Antiqua†of Torre Pacheco, “Coral Sauces School†of Cartagena, “Choir Harmony†of Cartagena, “Coral Magister†of Cartagena, “Our Lady of the Assumption Choir†of Los Alcázares and the “Carthagonova Polyphonic Choirâ€.
The exhibition is organized by the Carthagonova Polyphonic Choir that has already completed forty-two years of continuous work and currently has Pedro Andrés García in the direction.
It has the collaboration of the City of Cartagena through the Department of Culture and the Choir Federation of the Region of Murcia.
