John Malkovich becomes the iconic characters of David Lynch, photographed by the American artist Sandro Miller, in the exhibition 'Psychogenic Fugue', which arrives in the city at the hands of the Cartagena International Film Festival.
The opening of the exhibition will take place in the Cajamurcia Foundation's Classroom of Culture on November 22 at 8 pm, with the assistance of artist Sandro Miller.
The exhibition will remain open until December 22.
The concept "PSYCHOGENIC FUGUE" (Psychogenic or Dissociative Fugue), represents the psychological disorder through which the individual who suffers it experiences a leak of their own identity, suddenly creating a new identity, and is the concept from which the American artist Sandro Miller builds the exhibition.
It consists of a total of 26 images, of which 17 present John Malkovich characterized by the most iconic characters of the Lynch universe, and another 9 images composed of portraits of David Lynch, in addition to an 18-minute short film.
Sandro Miller, self-taught artist, has established itself as one of the great international photographers.
His commercial success has allowed him to address more personal projects, such as this collaboration with John Malkovich and David Lynch, which is the result of this exhibition that was opened to the public for the first time, and in collaboration with the David Lynch Foundation, in New York in May 2018;
Since then, he has also toured Chicago and Sintra (Portugal) on the occasion of the Lisbon and Sintra Film Festival.
And this year is here in Cartagena, thanks to the joint effort between the FICC and LaChrome, a company born in Cartagena and founded by Cartagena, and with offices in Madrid and Chicago.
