The Cartagena City Council has published this morning the proposal for a provisional resolution of the granting of 213,500 euros of grants to seventy Neighborhood Associations of the municipality of Cartagena, by the competitive concurrence procedure.
The Councilor for Decentralization, Diego Ortega, has reported that "the grants have been given to seventy Neighborhood Associations for the promotion of citizen participation and partnership, as well as for the maintenance of social premises and improvement investments."
Specifically, as reported by Ortega, "188,500 euros are allocated to activities, projects and maintenance of social premises and 25,000 euros to investments in these units."
Ortega has explained that the delay in the resolution has occurred "because we could not give the new subsidies until certain associations had not correctly performed their justification for the years before the municipal intervention."
The Commission assessed at the time the 79 applications submitted to the call, of which they were admitted for processing 70 and 9 were rejected for not meeting the required deadline criteria.
The boards of electronic edicts and announcements of the municipal website have published this Thursday, November 21, the proposal for a provisional resolution.
The submission of allegations by the interested parties has a period of 10 business days from the date of their publication in the edicts board, made today Thursday, November 21.
