This Thursday, November 21, the training room of the Agency for Local Development and Employment of the City of Cartagena, in La Milagrosa, has received the delivery of diplomas to entrepreneurs who have participated in the fourth edition of the Generation Entrepreneur program, which He has performed from October 21 to November 20.
Generación Emprendedora is a free program of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Local Development of the ADLE.
It includes a training and advisory itinerary in business management with a very practical methodology, which allows the entrepreneur to acquire the necessary skills to develop his project.
The event has been assisted by the Councilor for Employment and Business and president of the ADLE, Irene Ruiz, the delegate mayor, Cristina Pérez and the ADLE manager, Fulgencio Cerón, who have been responsible for delivering the diplomas to Participants of this promotion.
This edition has had 13 participants (10 women and 3 men) who have developed as many business projects, related to the trade of creative gifts, hairdressing academy, wood crafts, ecotourism, cartoons, restaurant, electronic clothing trade baby, digital application, hairdresser-barbershop, human resources, training in recycling, aesthetic center and production of artistic paintings.
Susana Zamora and Alex Negru, two new entrepreneurs who are going to set up a brasserie called 'Channels 5', which will have a menu of meats and fish that will change every 6 or 8 weeks, have affirmed that "we want to offer something different to the gastronomic market of Cartagena and we believe it is a good opportunity for our business. "
In addition, they have explained that the Entrepreneurial Generation program "shows us how the market is and provides us with tools to organize and implement our ideas."
In total, the number of participants of the successive editions of the Generation Entrepreneurial Creation Program amounts to forty-eight people.
In the first three editions of Entrepreneurial Generation, 35 people have already participated, with 17 entrepreneurs (12 women and 5 men) who have successfully launched business projects of personalized gifts, hairdressers, real estate services, confectionery, disinfectant products, Latin food , gym, copy shop, clothing store, service companies, physiotherapy, training, rental management, among others.
Another of the program participants, María Ángeles Hellín, who is going to create a company 'Cartoons Angels' to draw cartoons live at events or on request, has indicated that this course "helps you to open up to other niche markets and give you a I turn to your business. "
During the program, entrepreneurship experts have led workshops in business skills, business model, financial management, legal advice, labor tax, elevator pitch, digital marketing and new technologies.
All this completed with individualized tutorials, carried out by the department's technicians and networking to favor the creation of relationships between the participants.
José Alves, from the 'Rice Master' and former program participant, has stated that he recommends this course, since it reports "good benefits" to the participants.
Before delivering the diplomas, the chef has given a talk about the values ​​that an entrepreneur needs when developing a project and they have prepared the ingredients for the chicken and vegetable paella they have made after the event.
The program is an initiative of the Agency for Local Development and Employment, through the Department of Entrepreneurship and Local Development, with two lines of work: encourage the creation of companies and help the growth and consolidation of local companies, with the aim of educating , tutoring and training in entrepreneurship to local entrepreneurs and businesses.
