The cycle of promotional concerts between Entre Cuerdas y Metales, an event organized by the Department of Youth together with the Conservatory of Music of Cartagena, began this Tuesday, November 19 at the Auditorium of the Conservatory of Music of Murcia, concerts that offer the opportunity to The winners of the last edition of the Contest, to act as soloists with a professional orchestra, in three performances held in different parts of our Region.
The first of these concerts began with the Cartagena Symphony Orchestra (with Chamber Orchestra format) performing the first movement of one of Beethoven's quartets, arranged by its conductor, Leonardo Martínez, for String Orchestra.
Next, the youngest winner in the history of the contest in the string modality, Marcos García Barrera, performed Concert No. 3 in Sol Kv.
216 for violin and orchestra by WA Mozart.
Alberto López Bernal continued with Concert No. 4 in Mib KV.
495 for horn and orchestra, Paula Soriano Ibánez continued who performed the Concerto in Mib Op. 109 for saxophone and string orchestra that gave way to Daniel Madrid Jordan.
He was accompanied by Mamen Fernández (cante) and Alejandro Solano (cajón) (Prize Filón International Festival of Cante de las Minas 2019), who performed the work of E. de Melchor, Callejón del aire.

The final touch to these magnificent performances, came from the hand of Marta García de Andrés Martínez with the Symphonic Rhapsody for piano and orchestra Op. 66 by J. Turina.
The Conservatory of Murcia vibrated with these five excellent and young musicians who excited the Auditorium with their magnificent performances and achieved an outstanding artistic and public success.

The next concerts of this cycle will take place in Jumilla and Cartagena.
