The Cartagena Historical Memory Association and the José María Marín Trovera Association bring the recreation of the Great Trovera Evening that took place in Portmán around 1913, together with the Delinde poetry festival of the City Council of Cartagena City Council.
The event, then starring the great troveros of the time, José María Marín and Manuel García Tortosa 'El Minero', dealt with the employer's defense in the case of the first one, while the second one was made by the worker.
It has gone down in history as the best trovera performance of that time and it was called the 'Social Evening' which, although it lasted several hours, kept all its spectators attentive throughout the evening.
It will be in the auditorium of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center when this appointment takes place in which this trovero duel is played on Thursday, November 21, at 8.30 pm with free admission.
