The book of facts in the Editorial Candaya.

Already in the afternoon at 6:00 pm and as part of the Conference 'Culture as inclusion' organized by the Collective La Huertecica in the Faculty of Business Sciences of the UPCT (Old CIM), M.ª Ángeles Carnacea belonging to the organization Solidarios para el Desarrollo (Murcia), will present a plaquette that the students of the Poetry Workshop of the Murcia II Penitentiary Center (Campos del Río, 2019) have prepared.

Then, and within the programming of these Days, a poetic Duel will take place, full of strength and emotion between the Murcian poets Katy Parra and Inma Pelegrín.

These two activities are possible thanks to the collaboration of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena and the city's Port Authority.

To end the day on Saturday, at 7:00 p.m. in the Athenas Club room on Cuatro Santos street, we will have a concert-concert for the presentation of the book 'Female Beatness.

Women, gender and poetry in the beat 'generation (University of Valencia, 2019).

We know that there were several women within the Beat Generation.

But what did it really mean to be beat in a feminine key?

How were the bohemian lives and transgressive literature of these women?

Who were Elise Cowen, Diane di Prima, Ruth Weiss and Denise Levertov?

The British essayist A. Robert Lee and the performing translators and poets Isabel Castelao and Natalia Carbajosa will present the book Female Beatness: Women, gender and poetry in the Beat generation, published by the University of Valencia.

More than a presentation to the use, it will be a concert-recital in which four beat authors of the winds and percussions of the jazz duo Santos & Mondéjar will be read in bilingual format.
