The Collective Association "La Huertecica", in collaboration with the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena, the Polytechnic University (UPCT) and the Port Authority of the city from its Area of social intervention, celebrates the Days of Culture on 15 and 16 November in the courtyard of the CIM of the Faculty of Business Sciences.
These days are aimed at analyzing culture as a space for inclusion for vulnerable people and / or in situations of social exclusion, in which multiple cultural and artistic activities will be held.
They will begin on Friday 15 at 6:00 p.m. with a conversation that aims to open a space for dialogue around 'Culture as inclusion in contexts of diversity and vulnerability', with the participation of Mara ngeles Carnacea (Association for Development Partnerships ), Arturo Acebedo (Association Superacci de Barcelona) and Leyre Garca of the La Huertecica Collective.
Then the inauguration of the art exhibition entitled “Margins” by new artists will take place at 8:00 p.m.
On Saturday 16 from 11:00 to 13:00 a series of workshops of expression and creativity will be held for all audiences, free and without prior registration, along with stories, smartphone photography and theatrical improvisation for the whole family.
In the afternoon there will be a presentation of a plaquette made by the Students of the Poetry Workshop of the Murcia II Penitentiary Center of Campos del Ro, and a poetic duel starring the Murcian poets Katy Parra and Inma Pelegrn at 6:00 p.m.
This act is also part of the program of the poetic festival Deslinde.
The closing of these Days at 20:30 will be with a solidarity concert, with the participation of three groups: Carlos Zambrana and his band, Mono a cero and Awakate.
All workshops are free without prior registration and the concert has a solidarity ticket of 8 euros.
