On Sunday, November 17, the VI edition of the Association of Associations and Collectives Fair of the Virgen de la Caridad Neighborhood is celebrated.
The esplanade of the Port of Cartagena will host the work being carried out by the residents of this neighborhood of the municipality.
The Department of Social Services of the City of Cartagena collaborates in this event.
The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, the vice mayor and councilor for Social Welfare Noelia Arroyo and the mayor of Social Services Mercedes García will attend the fair.
It will start at 12 noon.
The main idea of ​​this fair of associations and groups of the Barrio de las 600 is to show that the Virgen de la Caridad neighborhood is alive, prosperous and full of citizen participation.
The Fair is organized by the Neighborhood Neighbors Association, together with neighborhood groups and supporters.
This activity is within the Community Dynamization Plan.
In the Fair of Associations and Collectives of the Virgen de la Caridad Neighborhood, activities for all audiences will be developed.
For children, there will be workshops of balloon twisting, face painting and key chains.
There will also be inflatables.
The groups will install stands to demonstrate the activities carried out in the neighborhood.
In addition, there will be an exhibition of motorcycles, scooters, motor homes, Volkswagen classics and Seat 600. There will also be space for leisure, with the performance of the choreographic group Renacer and the musical group of Ghana.
In addition, Moroccan music will be played and ballroom dancing will be performed.
To regain strength, a product tasting will be done.
The Department of Social Services of the City Council of Cartagena considers it very important to support and reinforce this initiative, since it generates great satisfaction and motivation in the work team.
Positively affect the continuity of the actions that are carried out daily in the neighborhood.
It is an occasion in which they collect the gratitude and recognition of their own neighbors and of the visitors of the municipality who approach the recess and tour the different facilities and exhibitions.
