The Murcian author, Ana Gil, presents her first novel 'Touch my window' (Tirano Banderas, 2019), a story about abuse in adolescents with which she seeks to raise awareness, especially for the youngest.
Framed in Read, Think, Imagine, the presentation ceremony will be this Wednesday, November 13, at the Josefina Soria del Luzzy Library, at 8 pm.
'Touch my window' (from the Murcia publishing house Tirano Banderas) tells a story that begins as a relationship of adolescent love, but continues along a path full of dangers, deceptions and violence.
Emma and Carlota, lifelong friends, study First Baccalaureate and maintain a sincere friendship.
Carlota, an only and fatherless daughter of a father, with a mother dedicated to her work, finds in Emma the sister she never had.
This, in turn, lives with two twin babies, who occupy the scarce free time of their parents, always worried about their labor obligations.
Every day is altered by the arrival at the Cristian y Roque Institute.
Thus, what begins as a story of adolescent love continues along a path full of dangers, deceptions and violence.
Life and death come together in an exciting novel, which catches the reader and shows that, sometimes, nothing is as it seems.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Ana Gil Quiles, was born in 1973. He studied Business Studies at the University of Murcia.
He has worked in the administration department of several companies, always combining it with his publications in the sports section of the newspaper La Opinion.
He has also signed reports on solidarity events, in the aforementioned newspaper.
With his first novel he seeks that society and the youngest, in particular, not lower their guard against gender violence.
