Last weekend, the Cultural Association of Modernist Friends of Cartagena closed its Autumn Modernist 2019 with various events and activities, with the performance of the Orchestra of the Musical Union Cartagonova on Sunday, November 10, in front of the Town Hall Square with more than 250 assistants, among which was the second deputy mayor, Manuel Padín.

At the end of the concert, the president of the association, accompanied by the councilor, presented a diploma to the orchestra, thanking him for his participation in the event, which was organized together with the rest of activities in collaboration with the Department of Celebration and Culture of the City of Cartagena .

On the other hand, on Friday, November 8, a trovera evening was held from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. with troveros and guitarists from the José María Marín de la Palma trovera association, Juan José García Parra, Juan Santos Contreras , the popular Baranda, Fernando García Buendía, Ángel Herrero, Juan Ros and Juan Ramón Molina.

After the performances, each participant was awarded the official diploma of the cultural association Amigos Modernistas de Cartagena and the key to the association.

The I Festival of Folklore of Cartagena also took place in the Town Hall Square on Saturday, November 9, dedicated to Las Cuadrillas with the performance of Isla Plana, La Aljorra and Tallante.
