Arantxa Pérez: "This is an essential initiative to promote family reconciliation"
This morning, the municipal group MC Cartagena, represented by the spokesman, José López, and the mayor Isabel García and Arantxa Pérez, has accompanied the educational community of CEIP Carthago de Vista Alegre in a rally to demand the removal of asbestos from the center.
During the meeting, the councilors of the Cartagena training have collected the claims of the educational community for the improvement of the center.
Thus, MC Cartagena will promote the start of the necessary steps so that the City Council of Cartagena and the Autonomous Community reach a collaboration agreement whereby students of CEIP Carthago de Vista Alegre can enjoy the use of the dining room of the Municipal Infant School, whose building is adjacent to the mentioned public school.
The Councilor of MC and responsible for District No. 5, Arantxa Pérez, has announced the commitment of the Cartagena training "to establish an agreement between local and regional administrations for the common use of the canteen of the Infant School among students of the College and municipal center. "
Pérez explained that, in this way, "we collect the just claim from the educational community of CEIP Carthago, which appeals to promote the much needed family reconciliation, essential in our day. As we have been informed, 40 students of the public school of Vista Alegre they would make daily use of the dining room and another 40 could do it in a timely manner, so the collaboration between the City Council and the Community is fully justified, especially when the meal times of the School and the College make this coexistence possible. "
"The solution seems clear; both are adjoining facilities, separated only by a wall that even already has a door that connects both centers, so we will urge an agreement between administrations that allows the shared use of the canteen of the Infant School."
Arantxa Pérez has ended up reiterating MC's commitment to seek a solution "since they have transmitted to us that the absence of a dining room is proving to be a major inconvenience, with the risk of even closing units due to lack of students. We hope that this time the good will and collaboration between administrations be a reality for the sake of the children of the Vista Alegre school. "
