The works of improvement of the public lighting in the Plaza Ciudad de Mula carried out last week by municipal operators, within the Energy Efficiency Plan that is being carried out by the Department of Infrastructure in Cartagena, have been completed.
With an investment of 28,400 euros, within the improvements offered by the current public lighting maintenance company, SICE, nine new LED technology luminaires have been renewed, to respond to a demand from neighbors with the aim of modernizing the lighting public.
This action involves the replacement of luminaires with equipment and lamps of 250w SAP with new LED luminaires that will consume 61 w / unit, that is, efficiency and energy savings are improved to guarantee better citizen service and savings to the municipal coffers.
These works are included in the actions carried out by the City Council in Jorge Juan Street, Reina Victoria Avenue and Alameda San Antón, and that will continue in the next months in other parts of the city.
