The ADE Program of the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena and the Cartagena University Rugby Club, organizes the activity called MacroADE "Here We Play All".
On Tuesday, November 5, more than 350 ESO students participate in the Municipal Athletics Track.
The objective is that all students can practice the sport of rugby in an unforgettable experience, since the players and coaching staff of the University Club will be the exceptional monitors in the different activities.
The centers participating in the activity are the IES La Vaguada, the Polytechnic, Isaac Peral, Ben Arabí, as well as Franciscans and Marists.
All are students of 2nd and 3rd Secondary School of institutes in the municipality of Cartagena.
The day will be divided into two parts: first there will be a more technical session, where varied skills associated with rugby will be exercised, such as passes, coordination, tackle or placement.
After this part, the rugby style scarf game will be made.
After a short break, the players of the Cartagena University Rugby Club will demonstrate the different aspects of the game to the students participating in the activity.
After the exhibition, the young people will play matches between them.
Each center will have four teams.
2 teams from each school must be equipped with bibs.
There will be six fields in which these matches will be played:
Field 1: Marist A, Ben Arabí D, Franciscanos C, Polytechnic B
Field 2: Marist B, La Vaguada A, Franciscanos D, Polytechnic C
Field 3: Maristas C, La Vaguada B, Isaac Peral A, Polytechnic D
Field 4: Maristas D, La Vaguada C, Isaac Peral B, Ben Arabí A
Field 5: La Vaguada D, Isaac Peral C, Ben Arabí B, Franciscans A
Field 6: Isaac Peral D, Ben Arabí C, Franciscans B, Polytechnic A
Two matches will be played between the four teams in each group, plus one match between the winners of those matches and another for third and fourth place.
The Department of Sports of Cartagena reminds that although competitiveness is a factor associated with any sport, respect must be above all in the development of matches.
