On Friday, November 29, the company La Murga Teatro will premiere its next production 'Tic Tac Poe', at the Nuevo Teatro Circo de Cartagena, at 9 pm.
Directed by Alfredo Ávila and with an important cast and artistic and technical team, the Cartagena company returns to the stage, this time directing its work to the adult audience.
La Murga Teatro, which will soon be 38 years of professional work and is the most veteran professional company in the Region of Murcia, returns to the stage after two recent productions dedicated to children 'The Musical La Ratita Presumida' and 'Caperucita Red, the craziest version of history ', both continue to fill theaters through their national tour supported by the Plan Platea, belonging to the Ministry of Culture.
In this case, 'Tic Tac Poe' is a production, undoubtedly, intended for theater lovers and in this case, also, for the great followers of the American writer Edgar Allan Poe.
This assembly takes us to October 7, 1849, the last night of Edgar Allan Poe's life, who appeared dead on a cold, dark street in Baltimore.
What happened during that dark and unknown night?
'Tic Tac Poe' picks up those last hours, in which the writer will face his deepest fears, his obsessions, his own characters and the desire to see his young wife Virginia again, dead years ago.
A few hours in which Poe will suffer the same terror that his countless readers lived with his stories.
Poe ... and you.
Will you dare to live it?
Tickets, ranging from 12 to 18 euros, are already on sale at the Theater box office or through the website www.nuevoteatrocirco.com
