The VII Conference of Associations and Competition Teams of the School of Industrialists of the UPCT has gathered in the courtyard of the ETSII a sample of all the possibilities offered to students to collaborate in various associations.
Patricio Franco, director of the School, declares proud “we have the largest number of technology associations and competition teams of any other Spanish university” and affects the ability of these groups to help students develop new skills and give their best of themselves, linking their efforts to the development of concrete projects.
Coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, the prototypes of students belonging to UPCT Racing Team, Moto UPCT, UPCT Solar Team and UPCT Drones have taken their competition prototypes to the ETSII playground.
All of them qualify as very enriching the experience of belonging to these associations, in which "they learn to put into practice everything learned in class."
For its part, Blanca Noguera, a member of the Solar Team, a competition team that encompasses about 15 students, has stated that this year the goal of the team is that its “ultra-efficient” vehicle can travel more distance with less energy and improve its marks in European competitions in which they participate.
Likewise, Paco Alarte and Alberto Martnez, from the Racing Team, want to achieve a “winning car” and get an outstanding performance in Montmel.
