The 26th edition of the Comarcal League Baseball League of the City Council of Cartagena kicks off this Saturday, October 26 with the act of honoring by the delegated Councilor for Sports, Diego Ortega, to the new season in the Ciudad Deportiva Gómez Meseguer on the occasion of the centenary of Cartagena FC

In this new edition, 210 teams will participate, and 43 clubs registered: Cartagena FC, FC Cartagena Foundation, EF, EFCD Dolorense, EF Narval, Naval CD, EMF Fuente Alamo-Gesa, CD La Palma-Codelpa, CD Minera, CD La Soledad de los Molinos Marfagones, Los Belones CF, EF San Ginés, CD Lapuerta, AD La Vaguada, EF Nueva Cartagena, CD Juvenia Pozo Estrecho, AD Barrio Peral, CD San ​​Cristóbal, CD Mediterraneo, CD Albujón, Hacienda del Alamo Sport CF, CD La Manga, CD Maristas, EF Esperanza, EF La Aljorra, D. Franciscanos, CDEstay, EF Santa Ana, EFAlumbres, CD El Algar, EF Torre Pacheco, EF Los Alcázares, AD Sucina, EMFB Pinatar, EF Dolores de Pacheco, SFC Minerva , Veterans Dolores de Pacheco, EMFB Balsicas, AD La Unión, AD Portmán, Coto Villalba, Mar Menor CF, Evangélico FC and CD La Isla. In total, more than 4000 participants have registered, among players - from 4 to 18 years old of age-, technicians, delegates and referees.

A nationally recognized championship where they can accommodate from the baby bottle category to the cadet, all clubs of greater or lesser social nature, with a marked pedagogical treatment of the competition through school sports and where a female category from seasons is also promoted previous.

The championship uses the support of the Federation of Soccer, using the software with its mobile application, of last generation for the elaboration of licenses, calendars, revisions, classifications, scorers, sanctions, and all necessary information, at digital level, using a telephone , tablet or computer.

In addition, with the agreement signed for this, the Football Federation provides its own health care, and all camps have defibrillators in their facilities to attend to any cardiac emergency.

In addition, the legal base coverage and disciplinary regime have been extended to cover the Committee and Competition Judge, to ensure the proper development of the championship, in terms of sanctions.

On the other hand, there are still federated arbitrations in the modalities of football 5, football 7 and football 8, in addition, football 11 in the children's category.

The competition will continue with the different sizes of ball and playing fields.

They continue betting on the pedagogical nature of the initiation categories (bottle and pacifier) ​​where the results for obtaining the classifications are not computed.

It will continue to bet strongly with the campaign of fair play and sportsmanship of all participating teams.

In collaboration with the School of Coaches and other institutions, courses of monitor, coach, coordinator and other disciplines are provided for all the technicians of the participating clubs, to be able to direct the different teams of the championship in the best conditions.

When the championship is framed in the regional school-age sport program, the Autonomous Community provides school insurance for sports accidents, of participants in it.

In short, a competition where the City Council continues to subsidize registrations, competitive licenses and federated arbitrations.

This championship is organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena and has the collaboration of the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia, General Directorate of Sports of the Autonomous Community, the Technical Committee of Referees of Cartagena, the Club Association of the Region of Cartagena (AFCT), the COLEF of the Region of Murcia, the Cartagena Club Soccer Foundation and CESPIA Sport.
