This morning the presentation of the 'Business Growth' program of Entrepreneurial Generation in La Manga took place.
This is an innovative project at the national level to improve the efficiency and profitability of local businesses through consulting and tutoring.
The event was attended by representatives of 30 companies from La Manga and the Councilor for Employment and Business, Irene Ruiz.
The program, developed by the Agency for Local Development and Employment of Cartagena (ADLE), has been presented at the Entremares de La Manga hotel.
The councilor explained that it is intended to make a deep and comprehensive intervention in the participating companies, through the conduct of individualized consultancies and tutorials.
These tutorials will focus on three specific areas: new technologies and marketing, strategy and seasonality and cost control, finance and profitability.
At the meeting, the program has been explained to the attendees and they have been given a calendar with the visits of the three consultants scheduled to conduct on-site consultancies to improve competitiveness and productivity.
These participating companies will receive visits from October 25 to November 11, 2019 to conduct 18 hours of consulting, 6 hours for each specialty.
In addition, on November 21, 22 and 23, 2019, they will receive feedback and on December 17 a global competitiveness plan that will include improvements in the four areas.
This initiative will be developed from today until December 17.
It is part of the Urban Sustainable Development Strategy (DUSI) 'La Manga 365', co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (Feder) at 80 percent and the remaining 20 by the Community.
The project has been carried out thanks to the agreement signed between the Ministry of Development and Infrastructure and the City of Cartagena.
